Note From the Editor
Issue Two of Repurposed was conceived as an issue representing loss, grief, absence etc. and the call-out was met with an overwhelming response. I feel privileged to have read all the works submitted, and even more privileged to showcase these chosen pieces.
Repurposing is, in a way, about renewal in the face of loss, about finding joy in the beauty of a rose because of the prick of its thorn, rather than in spite of it. Rather than mourning the end of something, these works instead celebrate and renew, and that is the why of this issue’s theme.
I hope, that you, readers, will enjoy the how of it as much as I did. This second issue of Repurposed is filled with amazing works of art and writing, as varied as they are wonderful.
