Issue Two of Repurposed was conceived as an issue representing loss, grief, absence etc. and the call-out was met with an overwhelming response. I feel privileged to have read all the works submitted, and even more privileged to showcase these chosen pieces.
Repurposing is, in a way, about renewal in the face of loss, about engaging the beauty of a rose because of the prick of its thorn, rather than in spite of it, and that is the why of this issue’s theme.
I hope, that you, readers, will enjoy the how of it as much as I did. This second issue of Repurposed is filled with amazing works of art and writing, as varied as they are wonderful.
